The most important aspect in carrying out this collection was the texture and the patterns of the leather.

MM2 was inspired from the construction of a book.
Once you open this slightly big clutch, it is just like a book.

We, women, have a whole story clutched within our bags.

For this collection, we had Jacomijn van der Donk (jewelry artist in Netherlands) and her daughter, Layla (for MM 1) model for us. Jacomijn and I have been very good friends, and she has also been a great teacher to me in the field of jewelry and art. Time to time, I catch a glimpse of her motherliness towards me. Watching her and her life in front of my eyes is like a precious story with a lesson to be taught.
